Help your scouts learn more about space with a visit to a space museum. There are museums that offer virtual tours for those who don’t live near one.
Your scouts will be interested to learn that many astronauts are former scouts! What do the kids think it takes to become an astronaut? They may be interested in finding out how astronauts are selected and what kind of training is involved.
Space Adventure can be a fun theme for a service unit event or camping trip with night walks, working with a telescope, learning the constellations, eating astronaut food and more.
