Meat was dried and cured to preserve it in the hot weather before refrigeration. Traditional biltong has a similar taste to beef jerky. We have combined it with dried fruit for a sweet and salty treat.
You Need:
- Thinking Day Passport
- Printable Recipe Card
- 12 oz. of beef jerky
- 3 oz. of dried fruit
Instructions:
Cut jerky and fruit into 1/2″ pieces. Mix together. Serve in disposable 1 oz. serving containers.
Yield:
About 36 sample servings.
