I really liked this idea, but had some issues with the product. Because Google Translate was used in its creation, a few of the words were translated incorrectly, used out of context, or did not take gender into account. (For example, “fair” was translated as “Messe”, which can mean fair if you’re saying ‘I’m going to the fair/convention’ but not if you’re trying to say ‘Let’s play fair’, or ‘Her complexion is fair’. In the context of Girl Scouts, I would probably use the second meaning (which translates to the same word in English and German- ‘fair’). There were a few like that which I ended up throwing out. I also felt that the choice of words that were chosen could’ve been more geared toward Girl Scouts (some were). Lastly, the images of Willow are printed on perforated paper, but the perforations only go part way, so you end up with rough edges that you have to cut anyway. It would be better if everything came pre-cut. Lastly, I would recommend that you charge for the download and let people have instant access. Since the customer ends up doing all of the assembly anyhow, waiting to have them delivered (and in my case, paying more for 3day shipping than the item itself costs!) is kind of pointless. With all of that considered, it’s still a cute idea, and the girls liked getting them on thinking Day.
