How Daisy and Brownie Girl Scouts can earn the Military Care Package Fun Patch:
Send a troop care package to a soldier. Decorate a shoe box. Each girl should choose one of the items on the list above to place inside the box. Each girl should make a card to add to the box.
How Junior and Cadette Girl Scouts can earn the Military Care Package Fun Patch:
Get others involved. Choose an organization to work with. Find out what items they suggest to include. Set a goal for the number of boxes you will be sending. Get help from the community to meet your goal by asking for donations or setting up a drive.
How Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts can earn the Military Care Package Fun Patch:
Focus on women. Deployed women have some different needs than men. Research what items women would like to receive. If possible, ask women who have served for their suggestions. Consider hosting an event and ask participants to bring items for care packages.
