Journal Friends
Here’s a great way to encourage beginners to write. 

You need:

• Themes for Friend
• Journal Blanks
• Paper
  (Use white paper to color in the skin of your friends or print right on ivory, tan or
  brown paper)
• Glue Stick
• Marker
• Scissors
• Three Ring Binder
• Three Hole Punch

Instructions:

Print journal blanks. Punch holes for
binder. Write the date on a page. Write something about your day. Color skin of
“Friend” if desired. Select a theme for the friend
that will show with what you wrote. Cut pieces out and glue them to the
“Friend”. Add it to your binder. Make one for each day
