Egyptian cheese is probably not readily available in your hometown. Feta cheese has a similar taste and consistency.
You Need:
- Thinking Day Passport
- Printable Recipe Card
- 1 Cup of Firm Feta Cheese
- 1 Tablespoon of Flour
- 1 Egg
- Salt & Pepper
- 3 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400°. Whisk egg with flour, salt and pepper. Crumble feta cheese into mixture. Knead with hands to form a dough-like consistency. Sprinkle in additional flour if too moist or sprinkle in drops of water if too dry.
Spread 3 tablespoons of oil on a cookie sheet. Roll mixture into 1″ balls and place on cookie sheet. Roll the cheese balls around to coat with oil. Bake for 10 minutes rolling around during cooking to brown all
sides.
