Girl Scout Adulting Patch Program® - Time Management SkillsTime management skills are important because they help us make the most of our limited time. When we manage our time effectively, we can accomplish more tasks, meet deadlines, and reduce stress. Good time management allows us to prioritize our responsibilities, set achievable goals, and allocate our time wisely. It helps us avoid procrastination and stay focused on what’s important. With proper time management, we can strike a balance between work, personal life, and leisure activities, leading to increased productivity, improved efficiency, and a better overall quality of life.

Suggestions for how younger girls can earn the Time Management Patch.

  • Download the “What Should You Do” worksheet provided with your order confirmation. Each scenario represents a situation you may find yourself in. How you handle yourself will represent your level of maturity. Circle the letter that best represents an adult behavior. There many be more than one right answer. Discuss why you chose your answer.
  • Girl Scout Adulting Patch Program Time Management DownloadsDownload the “Track Your Time” worksheets provided with your order confirmation. Put the day of the week at the top of  the column. Write the time and whatever you are doing next to it. Do this throughout the day for one week. Are you surprised at how you spent your time? Can you improve it?
  • Create a Time Management Plan. Print another set of  the “Track Your Time” worksheet provided with your order confirmation. Identify specific tasks and activities you need to accomplish each day (e.g., schoolwork, extracurricular activities, chores).
