Promoting Responsibility and Ownership
A Kaper Chart ensures that every child has a specific job during a meeting or event. By assigning tasks like “Cleanup,” “Snack Helper,” or “Song Leader,” children learn that their contribution is vital to the group’s success.
Fair Distribution of Tasks
It prevents the same few children from doing all the work (or all the “fun” jobs). Because the chart typically rotates, it provides a transparent way to show that everyone will eventually get a turn at every task, which reduces arguments over fairness.
Instructions:
Print the download in your order confirmation on colored paper. Cardstock will hold up the best, or you can laminate paper. Choose your own tasks or use the ones we have included. Write each girls name on a petal. Line up the flower and the wheel. Poke a brass fastener through the middle and bend the prongs back.
Randomly line up each girl with a task. Each meeting move the wheel to the next task. If you have more than 12 girls, you can buddy them up to work together.
