You’ll need 2 resealable bags, one larger than the other.

Ice and salt go in the larger bag. The type of salt used can change the texture of the ice cream. Ice cream or rock salt work best. Kosher salt is a good substitute. Table salt will work, but not as well as a chunkier salt.

In the smaller bag you’ll add the ingredients. Some recipes use heavy cream and some use half and half. Most recipes will call for sugar. The final ingredient depends on the flavor the girls want.

Make sure to squeeze all of the air out of the smaller bag before sealing.

Add the salt and ice into the larger bag and put the smaller bag inside of that.

Shake the bag very vigorously for about 10 minutes and enjoy!
