While their loved ones are away serving our country, knowing the community appreciates their sacrifice can make a military family feel proud. Older troops and youth groups can show their appreciation by offering to help out. Household and yard chores become more difficult when one family member is away. Offer to take care of lawn and yard work once a month. Babysitting can also be a great help.
