Description
2″ Embroidered Iron-On Fun Patch.
Sit upons are a fun tradition and useful for camping and other outdoor activities. They are also fun if your troop sits in the floor in a circle for stories, games or to talk.
Some leaders might remember making them when they were scouts using waterproof tablecloth, newspaper and lanyard. Holes were punched through the tablecloth for lacing the lanyard to make a pouch. After filling the pouch with newspaper, the girls laced the last section to finish their sit upon.
Since those earliest version of the sit upon, ideas to make them have included duct tape, zipper bags, buckets and foam pads.
