Family Patch

There are several dates that celebrate families.

• National Family Day is the 4th Monday in September.
• National Family Week is the week that includes Thanksgiving.
• Some school select certain dates as Family Night when little to no homework is assigned to encourage family time.

Ask parents if each scout can plan a fun activity for their family to celebrate one of these dates. Help the girls share ideas at their troop meeting. Of course each girl will make their own choice for their family but they will have fresh ideas to choose from.
