Description
Kit makes 6. Fabric will vary from photo shown and is based on availability.
With this kit your girls can make face masks for their family and friends or front line workers. Or make it a money-earning project for your troop. Includes illustrated step-by-step instructions for the best DIY mask. No fabric scissors needed. Just fold, press and stitch. Stitching is seven straight lines so it’s great for beginners. Make adult or child size.
Many DIY masks will gap at the sides or around the nose. Not this one. It’s comfortable and formed fit to the face. There is even a pocket for a filter (not included.)
Don’t have a sewing machine. You can choose to assemble using fabric glue or strips of BadgeBond for the same great results. The model is wearing a mask assembled with Fabri-Tak. It took 10 minutes to make.
Assorted styles and colors in each kit. Polyester.

Kind of pricey. Haven’t had girls make them yet. Won’t be doing until August as a service project. We’re going to make a few different types and donate to homeless shelters. I tried one using cotton fabric. Seems small.

I’m giving 3 starts because all the supplies are all together to make a mask with instructions. I am disappointed with the quality of the fabric. It is a see through rayon and not a cotton material.
From MakingFriends: Sorry you were disappointed. The product description does say polyester. It is standard bandanna fabric and the fabric is doubled when the mask is made. Please feel free to return the product for a refund.
