I purchased this kit so my scouts can have a few different ideas on how to earn this badge. Some of the papers were damaged in shipping, but that’s easily replaced. Thanks!

I got this to work on with my granddaughter. I probably could have purchased the supplies myself for a lower price. Great for sixth graders but older girls would probably think it was too elementary.

Pretty basic. Didn’t feel “cadette” level. More for younger girls. I appreciated that it took us through all the steps and we were able to earn the badge with it.

The kit met each requirement and the girls had a wonderful time making the different books. My girls had the best time doing this badge. It was fun and easy to do. This was cheaper than going to a workshop, and we had this done in about 2 hours. Thank You

Kit concept 4/5. Ease for scouts: 3/5. Value: 2/5. It’s pretty much various colored paper cut into different sizes, a composition book, and one glitter shoelace. If you’re a scout leader/ mom, you’ll already have most of these crafty items. Going by the directions was a little confusing and the end product was underwhelming. I had to go back step by step to the official guidelines to make sure the girls were completing the steps. I also had to add craft items to make the kit complete.

This package is ok. Some of the activities are interesting. It is very simple for the girls though and they lose interest.

My girls wanted to go to a workshop to do this badge but it was $20 a girl. So we decided to try our first badge in a bag. The girls enjoyed the projects in specially the book made out of plastic bags.

The activities for this badge we really good. The background information on books was good. We went out and found information and pictures on the internet of the differnt descriptions and made a powerpoint. We then went through the exercise with the girl. After this we worked on making the books the first one was pretty hard especially for those who didn’t wait for the instructions. We then completed the rest of the activities. Took us almost 2 hours and the girls didn’t get much decorating time because it took so long. Just beware this will take longer than you thought.
