My troop learned so much from this project. They were able to assemble the items easily and helped each other out well. Each one will keep the 1st Aid packet near them from now on!
Melissa Nique – :
These are very simple projects that do not actually help much with completing the badge as they teach very little about first aid.

This could have come with more items for first aid.

I have been spreading my good fortune with everyone I know. What a great site. Friendly and Pleasant. Thank You

I love these single packs. I had additional girls join the troop and it was easy to get more supplies. when girls miss a meeting I can send the supplies home easier

Our Senior Troop hosted a Badge Day for as a “money earning” project for our Alaska Cruise. The kit was great for covering the basic requirements of the badge. In addition we had the local volunteer EMS EMT’s come out to complete the requirements. Everyone was very happy, the girls presenting the badge, the leaders who’s troops attended the workshop, and the adults who were responsible for putting the event together. Everything in one place, make sure you also purchase the additional First Aid supplies the only thing not part of that is Band-Aids that you will need to purchase.

I have not had the meeting yet, but it would have taken me so much time to figure this first aid badge out and put everything together. This is very thorough and age appropriate – 2nd Grade Brownie troop. I am having the school nurse help with this badge
Kathy Schick – :
The kit was exactly as advertised. Makes my life much easier getting everything in one stop!

We bought this for our third grade brownies and while the bags and labels are cute, beware that there are absolutely no first aid supplies. One of the parents donated first aid kits for us instead; we did use many of the components but were disappointed that the $55 expense incurred did not cover everything. We loved the treatment cards, especially, but needed to buy clips/carabiners, too, so it turned out to be one of our most expensive badges.

As we were preparing for overnight camp, we gathered to create our sit upons. When everyone first arrived the girls helped each other to prepare their first aid kits. We decided to take one first aid kit and split up the supplies for the girls. It would be ideal to purchase the “optional” first aid supplies directly from MakingFriends to ensure you have enough for each girls’ kits. This was something I overlooked and just dived into the first aid kit I personally had (which I bought at Sam’s Club). The girls loved everything that came with the kit. They laughed and had a great time educating each other about what was included. When each girl was done, they put the first aid kit right into their sit upon so they had it just in case.
