Suggestions for how younger girls can earn the Bead Fun patch::
- Gather your pony beads and a cord for stringing. Shoelaces work good, or you can or make your own stringing cord by using yarn or other cord and rolling the ends in tacky glue or wrapping tape around the ends.
- Print our bead pattern worksheet. Fill out the worksheet with your available pony bead colors. Using markers or crayons, color the chart beads to represent the colors you have. Use the same colors and design two different bead patterns.
- Follow the first pattern and string the beads onto your prepared cord.
- Challenge a friend to do the second pattern.
- Make a necklace or bracelet out of your strung beads.
