This 2″ iron-on embroidered patch is part of our patch program®.
Scouts have traditionally done their badge work with their troops. This stay-at-home time is a good opportunity for them to learn independence and work on badges at home
Suggestions for how younger girls can earn the Badges at Home patch:
Earn a Petal, Badge or JOURNEY* at home. Do one:
- Participate it a virtual meeting with your troop where you earn a petal, badge or JOURNEY*.
- Use Download or Badge in a Bag® kit at home to earn a Daisy* petal, badge or JOURNEY*.
- Use Download or Badge in a Bag® kit at home to earn a Brownie* badge or JOURNEY*.
Suggestions for how older girls can earn the Badges at Home patch:
Independently Earn Badge or JOURNEY* at home. Do one:
- Show your independence by planning or leading your troop in virtual badge work.
- Work together virtually. Each scout can lead one part of a badge or JOURNEY* during virtual meetings.
- Complete a Download or Badge in a Bag® kit at home to earn a Junior* badge. Virtually show your leader or your troop what you have done.
- Complete a Download or Badge in a Bag® kit at home to earn a Cadette* badge. Virtually show your leader or your troop what you have done.
Suggestions for Community Badges at Home:
Using a platform like zoom, coordinate Badges at Home workshops for multiple troops. Older girls can lead and plan, especially if they are planning to complete their Service to Girl Scouting Bar.
