Knife Skills Patch
Check your council for safety wise while working with knives. Remember that progression is important. Remember that scissors were introduced in stages, too. Girls of all ages should know knives are tools, not toys. Start younger girls off with blunt knives and simple tasks. Save pocket knives for last after girls have mastered knives that don’t also bend and fold. When your girls have demonstrated their knowledge of knife safety and have completed their first project, our patch will show they’ve mastered a new skill.
