Flocking is the act of putting a flamingo or multiple flamingos in someones yard secretly. This is meant to show them you care, not mean spirited at all.

Have your troop or service unit create or take care of a garden to beautify a space or to experience the wonders of growing your own food. You can make the “Gardening” Patch a sign that your group knows how.

Try our suggested activities for your troop’s St Patrick’s Day themed meeting or have the girls come up with their own ideas.

A fashion show can be as simple as girls wearing their favorite outfit and walking the runway to some fun music. Girls can take turns describing the outfit and the girls to help build their public speaking skills.
Girls can get creative and update old clothing such as tee shirts with a pair of scissors, needle and thread or fabric markers.
Some girls may choose to think outside the box and make outfits out of duct tape or using recycled materials to embellish an outfit.
After your troop or service unit hosts their fashion show, this fun patch from MakingFriends®.com is the perfect reminder of a fun activity.

Reverse Trick or Treating is a fun way for your scouts to give back to their community. Visit a senior center, senior living, veteran’s home or hospital. The scouts can dress up and hand out candy or treats (you’ll want to check to see if there are restrictions where you are visiting) to the people they are visiting. Maybe end your visit with some fun Halloween songs. When they are done, the Reverse Trick or Treating patch from MakingFriends®.com shows that our scouts know even Halloween is a great time to remember others.

Have a Halloween themed troop meeting, trip or service unit event. Whether it’s a craft night or a dance party, help your girls remember the fun with this cute fun patch!

Participants use a GPS receiver or mobile phone to hide and seek containers, called geocaches or caches, at specific locations marked by coordinates all over the world.

Making sit upons is a fun and useful tradition. They are great for camping and other outdoor activities as well as to sit in the floor during meetings for stories, games or to talk.
Sit upons can be made using waterproof tablecloth, newspaper, foam or stuffing and lanyard. Holes are punched through the tablecloth for lacing the lanyard to make a pouch. After filling the pouch, the last section is laced up to finish the sit upon.
