Vote-Election Fun Patch
Many troops are at least partially girl – led so voting should not be a difficult concept for them to understand.
Hopefully they also understand that it’s ok to disagree as long as they remain respectful and kind.
Younger girls can practice voting skills by hosting an election of their own to choose a troop crest, a troop party theme or snacks for their next meeting.
Older girls may want to volunteer to help get the message out to the adults in the community to vote.
It’s important for the girls to remember they are only reminding people to vote, not telling them how to vote.
