For six consecutive years, Troop 43564 has dedicated their efforts to the Parks Appreciation Event in Gig Harbor. To date, they have planted over 800 trees at Sehmel Park, significantly enhancing local biodiversity and promoting a greener community. The Cadette troop made a unique and educational choice by attending an open house with Waste Management. After the tour, the scouts enjoyed crafts and a picnic lunch with Waste Management employees, receiving fun t-shirts as a token of appreciation. Brownie Troop from Missouri

The second-grade Brownies in Missouri are actively participating in caring for their local environment by cleaning up trash along their favorite trail at Burr Oak Woods. Following their cleanup efforts, they will plant a rain garden featuring native plants, which play a crucial role in supporting local ecosystems and improving water quality. Engaging in such projects helps young scouts understand the impact of litter on the environment and the importance of native flora.

In Houston, the San Jacinto girls organized a collaborative Earth Day event with 12 different troops, gathering 54 scouts and their families.
