Our troop had earned the badge last year, and we spent a lot of time and effort developing and purchasing supplies for age-appropriate jewelry. Our cost per girl was significantly more, but at that time we were not aware of the Badge in a Bag program. We ordered this year because we had inherited girls from another troop that also wanted to earn the jeweler badge. Oh my gosh! The projects were wonderful. Several of the girls that earned last year liked the projects in the Jeweler Badge in a Bag better than what we did last year (ugh).
