PJ Thompson – :
These were perfect for my group. Make be difficult for younger girls tho
Merissa – :
Easy to make – love it for this Centennial Year. My Daughter is having a super time swapping it with others!
Lisa Hedaria – :
The product was good but would have liked the supplies to be more evenly matched. The directions were helpful but we ended up modifying them so the item looked even better. All in all, we were pleased.
Kim – :
Bought these to hand out at a city-wide 100th anniversary meeting. They were fairly easy to make, with good instructions. Would definitely recommend these!
Gwen – :
I made all the anniversary pins in the kit in one afternoon. They do seem suitable for older girls rather than the young ones. Getting the tension right is a little tricky. They look nice and I shall enjoy exchanging them at the 100th anniversary.
Debi – :
This SWAP kit is wonderful! It turns out exactly as it is pictured! Even my 7 year old could do it!
Brenda Shuff – :
We made them at our annual lock in. Theme was 100th years of GS. At first it was a little difficult for the girls to understand what to do, but they figured it out enough to make a memory! thanks!
Dawn Gebhardt – :
We had no idea we would have to cut the rope and separate everything. We have lots of extra beads but only the exact # of number and letter beads. We were short on rope if we measure exactly. This is NOT something for Daisy scouts and possible Brownies. Putting the cord through twice through the same beads is hard to do. Wish us luck!
April – :
The girls had fun making these. We made them at our 100th celebration. We had 5 troops from Daisy to Juniors.
Keri C – :
This is an awesome swap. A little bit more difficult to make, but SO worth it. Even my 11 year old daughter caught on quickly and really likes this one. Overall, extremely satisfied.
AnneMarie – :
This is a really cute project. The Directions, Picture, and actual kit supplies do not exactly match — and young Girl Scouts are very quick to point that out. The heavier gauge satin cord is quite hard to fit three layers through the beads. Coating both ends with clear nail polish made a huge difference in the ease of execution!!
Mary Jeanette – :
Just what we wanted. We are looking forward to using them this year. You always are just what we need and so very affordable. Thank you!!!!
Meredith Joheim – :
I bought these for my new Daisy troop. I wanted them to have something that had a “100” on it because this is their first year. But they were a little more difficult than I thought they would be. I would recommend getting these for an older group, like Jr and older. I really like it though. All the girls wanted to pin them to their school backpacks. :D
Maria – :
The girls had a good time making this!
Lisa – :
This is the first item from this company that I have been disappointed in…2 adults worked on making a sample to show our Daisy and Brownie troop. Took us 20 minutes before we realized that the instructions were incorrect. Not an easily constructed SWAP especially for this age group so the girls just “made up” their own designs. PLUS I ordered the 101 birthday because that is what we were celebrating at camp….they sent me 100 so we improvised again!
Dana Singla – :
My 5th grade junior scouts made this–it was difficult for them to do this on their own, looping the thread back through the beads was hard for them. We ended up packaging this up and sending it home with the girls so their parents could help them. This needed 1×1 adult help for the majority of my Junior Scouts. Probably Cadette and older can do this on their own.
Laurie – :
Easy and thoughtful!!
