Previously Retired Girl Scout Badges and Their Replacements

Can Girls Still Earn Retired Girl Scout Badges?
A badge being retired doesn’t mean the activities suddenly stop being valuable. Troops may still choose to complete activities from retired badge programs for fun and skill-building. However, retired badges may become difficult to purchase, and leaders should check with their local council if they have questions about current Girl Scout badge requirements or uniform placement.
