Fortune Cookie Pins for Swapping
Although fortune cookies are thought of as Chinese, origins of this treat can also be traced back to Japan. These foam fortune cookie pins look good enough to eat! Thanks go to Cathy of Service Unit 33 for this great idea!
You need:
- Tan Craft Foam or felt
- Jewelry Craft Pins
- Low Temp Glue Gun
- Scissors
- Keep them in a Chinese Food Container
- SWAP* Tags (not shown) (optional)
Instructions:
Cut a 2-3/4″ circle out of tan craft foam. Fold in half and put a dab of hot glue to hold it together. Put the your thumb in one end and your middle finger in the other end. Pinch together, using your index finger to push in the center. Put a dab of hot glue where the the foam comes together so the cookie keeps its shape. Glue on a pin. Make up tags or fortunes and glue one end inside the cookie.
