Phone Scavenger Hunt Patch Program®
This 2″ iron-on embroidered patch is part of our patch program®.
Paperless Traditional Scavenger Hunt:
Create or find a traditional scavenger hunt list but make it paperless. Upload the list to your troop website or Facebook page or you can text or e-mail the list to the scouts. Then have your scouts use their cell phones to take pictures of what they find. Need inspiration for your scavenger hunt list? You’ll find a variety of scavenger hunt lists to use as inspiration at FreeKidsCrafts.com.
Getting to Know You Scavenger Hunt:
Find or make a cell phone scavenger list. The list would include specific types of pictures (at the beach, selfie, food, park, etc) and apps (list games, social media, etc) that can be found on a phone. The twist is they don’t find these items on their own phone. They have to mingle and ask other scouts if they have one of the photos or apps they need to find. Limit everyone to only get 2 from one person so they have to interact with more people. It’s a great way to meet new people or learn more about the scouts they already know.
Friendship Scavenger Hunt:
How about a friendship scavenger hunt? Make a list of fun things to enjoy with others. (Such as having ice cream, sitting on a swing, at a lake, playing basketball, playing a video game, playing a board game, crafting, baking etc.) Challenge your scout to take photos of themselves and other scouts in their troop having fun doing different things on the list over a period of a week or more. Extra points for the scouts that have a picture of themselves doing something with every scout in the troop.
