This is fairly educational and fun.

I loved the bag, we purchased fabric markers and let girls color their bags, and we made snacks and took a hike. The girls took bag with them. The hats were not as durable as I had hoped, but the girls had fun coloring their animal and putting on hat, they wore on hike and that was the most important part. I added a couple extra songs to sing on our hike, and a few activities along the way to find things on trail. It was nice having everything all together for us and we didn’t have to go out and buy all the supplies individually.

This kit is great for the girls, they really enjoyed the activities. You will need to download a basic trail sign page but they are easily found searching the internet. We used the kit in a badge workshop for a money earning event for our Senior Troops trip to Alaska. The girls hosting as well as the girls attending had fun

We had a campout this weekend and used this kit, we incorporated it into a theme party. We used the recipe cards and had girls make fairy munch mix and then take home recipe with them to make again later. It ended up raining the whole weekend, but its still camping you have to hike to the bathroom – out houses so we had the girls pair up and we song the song to and from the bathroom – they had a blast. We used the bags as there goody bags as well – they collected candy through out the event and put all their crafts and everything in there. We have a lot of new girls so the hats were perfect name tags – the girls didn’t know it but they helped us keep the girls straight and learn names. I would recommend this kit to everyone – The only thing I think its missing is more of a explanation of Hiking signs. We printed off a key to take with us so girls would know what types to make.
