The journey in a box is a good value and has great projects. I probably wouldn’t deliver the journey as well without this product. The only thing I wish it came with are seeds to plant in the pots instead of having to go buy them separately. One or two packs of seeds is enough to cover the troop.

I didn’t know how I was going to do this as a new leader. Instructions make it very easy. showed the projects to my daughter and she can’t wait for Daisies to start!!!!

Impressed! All these materials showed up in good condition and it was east to sort through to get prepared for each individual meeting. I was amazed that my order was processed, shipped, and arrived by the date I requested. Just a little disappointed in the fact that I didn’t get the instructions on how to put together any crafts, but I hope I can print them online or it may be a little hard.

I like this kit because it gave us oodles of ideas to try with our girls their first year of girl scouting. The activities are very simple to implement and worthwhile. The girls really liked earning their promise stickers.

I did the “Welcome to the Daisy Flower Garden” journey with my older daughter’s troop when she was a Daisy. I followed the book verbatim and we were glad when it was over. I ordered this badge in a bag for my younger daughter’s troop now that she is a Daisy. We are looking forward to it now! She got really excited when the box arrived and we looked through all the pieces together. She can’t wait to begin, and neither can I! Thanks for making the Journey fun and easier to prepare for!

I love this product. I have been able to go through each girl bag, pull out just what I need for the night and go. I dont have to do much planning at all. And the activities are great for my daisy scouts, they love all of them. None of the boring stuff that doesnt keep their attention. I will continue to get these for all of our journeys!!!

I like the fact that there are sessions already planned out and enouhg materials in the kit for the sessions. The outline provided for the sessios are clear and concise so that even a new leader can follow the directions and with very minimal preparation.

I really love everything about the Badge in a Bags, they are great, cute, colorful, fun, and easy to organize. The only thing I was a little sad about was that 2 of my flower sticker sheets were ruined, the cut outs were nowhere near the actual pictures for the stickers, so the stickers were just a bunch of wonky lookin flowers/bugs. :-( But it was only on 2 sheets, so only 2 girls will be upset I suppose. Being a first time leader this was very helpful. I was able to have a structured meeting that the girls could do. The scrapbooks were great to add photos of our activities.

I was hoping for a more inclusive kit, not one i have to supplement. It is fine, the value was, average to good I guess. Hope it keeps the girls attention ok as I have to supplement. It seems to spread out in 6-7 meetings what could be accomplished in about 4, and only one badge on one subject. As a beginning leader at least Making Friends.com has helped me obtain items to use for my troop.

I was very unsure about becoming a leader but this made it very easy. I would recommend to anyone. You don’t even have to buy the leaders guide.

Thanks MakingFriends I just received my kit for my girls and I can not wait to do the kit with my girls. I know they are going to love making their very own flower hats, and not to mention I have a lot of little green thumbs in my group they will really enjoy planting their own flowers.

We were one of the test market groups for this kit. We had 8 earn the garden journey doing this kit over the summer break. Most of my girls were six but we did have 2 five year olds. It was a big hit. The girls loved some of the simple things like hunting for the treasure box each meeting with the craft inside. They were very proud of there flower hats and couldn’t wait to were them at our garden party. The girls really, really like having their own scrapbooks and wanted to take them home each meeting but we decided to collect them until the final meeting so they wouldn’t forget to bring them back. Can’t wait to see the other journeys. We are going to do 3 cheers for animials and hoping the kit will be as good as this one was.
