How is making crafts fulfilling this Journey? Are you also doing a take-action project?

Thanks for giving me the chance to clarify. Yes, all of the requirements for the journey are met with step-by-step guidelines. The addition of activities make it more appealing to girls.

So, I just got in from a camp in weekend with my Senior Troop. We did the Ambassador Journey Bliss using the totally Girl Led kit from Makingfriends.com. It was the most beautifully run, comprehensive and productive weekend. The crafts are totally appropriate for high school kids. We had divided out all the parts and materials at a planning meeting and each girl (or team) was totally responsible to planning, making lesson plans and bringing whatever she/they needed to get their section completed. In addition to the actual Journey program, we had a photographer to document it, a videographer to show the girls in action, a reporter to send it to the local newspapers, two resource scouts who ran errands for the supplies, a hostess who was in charge of meals and a scout who was in charge of activities to keep the girls active and upbeat during breaks. No drama, everyone did their part, mission accomplished. Outline of Take action project done. Can’t say enough about the Journey in a Bag. This is a good one ladies.
