International Food Recipes

Troop 45868 did Germany for 2015 Thinking Day*. We tie dyed our shirts the colors of the German flag.

When choosing food for your international event, finger foods are always a good choice. MakingFriends®.com has ideas and products to help make your celebration a success. These recipes have been selected as kid-friendly versions of the traditional recipes for popular Thinking Day* countries. Most are finger foods suitable for large groups that will appeal to children’s taste buds and are easy enough for them to make in the kitchen with adult help. Remember to use resources wisely and avoid foods that are too “weird”. Many girls will not be willing to sample them.

International Recipe Cards fit perfectly into our International Passports. Print recipe cards and leave them on your cultural table for visitors to put in their passports. Then each girls will have the recipe you used to take home.

Make sure to order our passports early for your Thinking Day* event. These sell out every year!

Not-So-Fun Fact: In the United States 30-40% of the food supply is wasted.
