They wrote\u00a0one fun thing that they did or learned during Daisies on each petal\u00a0which we used as\u00a0aisle markers by\u00a0tacking them into the grass with tacks on top of pencils.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Teresa&#8217;s troop also had an outdoor ceremony: <span data-ft=\"{&quot;tn&quot;:&quot;K&quot;}\"><span class=\"UFICommentBody\">We bridged outdoors over a stream. I gave each girl a daisy and as they crossed the bridge one at a time, they stopped in the middle, made a wish for her Brownie years, kissed the daisy goodbye and tossed it into the stream and watched their Daisy years float away. There wasn&#8217;t a dry eye in the house and those pictures of the girls are still my favorite!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Kris&#8217; troop: For our Daisies to Bridge to Brownies w<span data-ft=\"{&quot;tn&quot;:&quot;K&quot;}\"><span class=\"UFICommentBody\">e met at a dance studio and had a non traditional bridging while\u00a0the\u00a0girls earned the Brownie Dancer badge. Everyone enjoyed it more than the traditional bridging we had previously done for the older ones.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Brenda shared: <span data-ft=\"{&quot;tn&quot;:&quot;K&quot;}\"><span class=\"UFICommentBody\">So cute!! My girls will be bridging this summer in Paris\u00a0over Pont Alexander in front of the Eiffel Tower!! When they were Brownies &#8211; that was their goal for high school&#8230; and 2 of the 22 stayed in and\u00a0made it. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Sandi&#8217;s idea: Each girl can<span data-ft=\"{&quot;tn&quot;:&quot;K&quot;}\"><span class=\"UFICommentBody\">\u00a0carry streamers across the bridge\u00a0using colors from the\u00a0petals (so-and-so represents honesty because&#8230; ). Tie on one end, cross bridge and tie on other end to create the &#8220;rainbow&#8221;.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Lynn&#8217;s troop used a different ceremony: <span data-ft=\"{&quot;tn&quot;:&quot;K&quot;}\"><span class=\"UFICommentBody\">My Daisies went thru a large cardboard &#8220;oven&#8221; and came out as brownies!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Doria&#8217;s help: <span data-ft=\"{&quot;tn&quot;:&quot;K&quot;}\"><span class=\"UFICommentBody\">Cross a bridge and have them meet at the Brownie pond and teach them &#8216;twist me and turn me&#8217; as a new group of brownies<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Betsy&#8217;s troop: <span data-ft=\"{&quot;tn&quot;:&quot;K&quot;}\"><span class=\"UFICommentBody\">My Daisies Zipped to Brownies!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Marlene added: <span data-ft=\"{&quot;tn&quot;:&quot;K&quot;}\"><span class=\"UFICommentBody\">We had our girls add a petal that coordinated with color and promise to a big Daisy. They removed their smocks, crossed the bridge stopping in the middle to say the &#8220;twist me turn me&#8221; rhyme. Then got their Brownie vest on the other side.
