I know this is an old post but I feel compelled to leave my blurb...I’m new to GS I lead a Daisy troop of 10 including my daughter and I have no co-leader nor any parent help. The Moms usually stay and socialize among themselves at the meetings and will occasionally lend a hand but I have no real help planning meetings, gathering supplies etc. I can’t even get parents to volunteer to co-sign the troop bank account so I haven’t been able to pay myself back for the money I’ve put out, I can’t deposit troop dues, and I have checks from Fall product I can’t do anything with. I can’t get parents to volunteer to save my life. At this point we can’t even participate in cookie sales because we have no bank account. Troop banking just advised me to contact them when I have a parent volunteer. My daughter loves it but unless someone steps up we might just have to join another troop and leave these girls as much as I don’t want to because they’re my girls. Any advice?
