French Toast Sticks with Candian Maple Syrup Recipe
Canada produces most of the world’s maple syrup. They are 2nd in its consumption. The U.S. is the first.
You Need:
- Thinking Day Passport
- Printable Recipe Card
- 8 slices of white bread
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- Cinnamon
- Butter
- Maple syrup
Instructions:
Lightly beat eggs with a fork in a medium bowl. Beat in milk and vanilla. Cut white bread into 1″ strips. Preheat skillet over medium flame. Melt a tablespoon of butter in the skillet. Dip strips in the egg batter. Generously sprinkle with cinnamon. Fry on each side until golden brown. Serve with maple syrup for dipping.
Yield:
About 40 1″ French toast strips.
