Snowman

Give a homemade gift every hostess will appreciate. 

You need:

• 2-1/2" Styrofoam Ball
• 3" Styrofoam Ball
• Mini Broom
• Mini Carrot
• Low Temp Glue Gun
• Felt
• Fabric Glue
• Black Pony Beads
• Scraps of Craft Foam
• Pipe Cleaners
• Pattern
• Fabric Glue
• Wooden Skewer

Instructions:

Flatten out the bottom and the top of a 3" styrofoam ball by pressing it firmly unto a hard surface. Flatten just the bottom of a 2" ball. Use hot glue to glue together. Press black pony beads all the way in to styrofoam to make eyes, mouth and buttons. Press in a carrot nose. Put a pipe cleaner in half and cut off 1-1/2" of each arm. Twist around arms to make branch hands. Poke arms into Styrofoam. Hot glue a mini broom on to the side of the snowman.

Print pattern for vest and hat. Staple to felt and cut out. Snowman above is only wearing the hat. Click here to see how he would look in a vest. 

To Make the Stocking Cap: Print pattern. Cut out. Glue the bottom edge up about 3/8" using fabric glue. Glue the edges to together. Use 1/2 pipe cleaner and twist around gathered top near fringes. Glue to head. 

Push a wooden skewer into the bottom of the snowman. Push the other end into a plant.
