Paint apple woodsies and oval box. Let dry. Cut an insert
for the photo area out of ivory paper. Write "2001 Memories" (or the correct
year) to fit within the oval frame.
Glue the woodsies apples around the box bottom sides.
Braid raffia and glue all around the lid as shown in photo
above. Tie off the ends, cross them, secure with glue and trim.
Slide the ivory oval into the photo frame on the top of the
box.
Cut index cards in an oval to fit in the box. Ask each
student to write something on a card and sign their name. Cut photos taken during the year
into ovals to add to the box.
