Daisy Crowns
Daisy Girl Scouts will love this crown just for them.
You need:
- 5 SilkĀ Daisies with Leaves
- Drinking Straws
- LowĀ Temp Glue Gun
- 2 PipeĀ Cleaners
- Scissors
- White and Yellow Curling Ribbon
Instructions:
Twist the ends of two chenille stems together so you haveĀ one stem 22ā³ in length.
Cut the daisy heads off the stems. Slide the leaves off theĀ stems. Cut drinking straws into 1/2ā³ sections and hot glue a piece onto the backĀ middle of each daisy head.
Have each girl slide her double length chenille stemĀ through the straw piece glued to one daisy head. Next slide on a leaf set. These will haveĀ holes in them already. Then one daisy, one leaf, one daisy, one leaf and one daisy. PushĀ the daisies and leaves together and slide them to the middle.
Bend chenille stem into a loop and twist ends together toĀ form a crown. Cut curling ribbon into 6ā² lengths. Tie to the back of the crown and curlĀ with scissors. These curls will hang down the girlās back when she wears her crown.
