"Best Friends" Scrapbook Page
Add a "Best Friend"
page to your scrapbook or frame the page as a gift for your best friend.
You need:
- Photo of You and
Your Best Friend
- Scrapbook Paper
(We chose green grass for background and two different shades of pokadot orange)
- Two Paper Doll "Friends" to Match the Photo
- Glue Stick
- Scissors
- 3/16" Paper Punch
- Markers, Gel Pens or Paint Markers
Instructions:
I like to use the computer for help with the lettering but you can
use stickers or you can hand letter. Here's how I do it:
Using you favorite program print the page head "Best
Friends" along the top of your page. I you can, just print the outlines of the
letters. Make sure to do a test page first. Color the headline using paint pens, gel pens,
markers or colored pencils.
Make two "Friends"
to match the friends in the photo. Glue them underneath the headline with their arms
behind each other.
If you want the white edge around your photo, glue it to a piece of
white, acid-free paper. Trim evenly all around 1/8" from the edge from the photo.
Cut a rectangle out of each shade of orange paper. They should be
about 1/2" bigger (all around) than your picture. Glue the photo to one rectangle on
an angle. Glue that to the second rectangle on an angle.
Punch holes out of yellow and orange paper. Use a toothpick to glue
them into place.
